Izzy, Our muse
I've been on a bit of a hiatus on the blogging front in the latter half of last year, but I promise it's all been for a good cause! Like.. this fancy new website (courtesy of Briony Cullin) and my focus on making 2018 even bigger and better than Kennedy's debut.
2017 seen the brand take a glam rock style to both Asos Marketplace and The Scottish Design Exchange, as well as dressing one of my fav band gals and all round girl crush Izzy B Phillips (Black Honey).
Not only does Izzy have amazing style, she's a creative gal in her own right and I love everything that her and the boys in Black Honey stand for .. a band which takes everything in to their own power and not selling down the corporate route. So, it's only right that independent creatives support one another!
So, it's only right that independent creatives support one another and, in summer of last year I went out on a bit of a whim and asked Izzy if I could send over a few pieces from the then festival collection .. to my amazement she said she was a fan of the brand and would love to get some pieces. Turns out my garments actually made it on tour with Royal Blood and took to the stage in London, Cardiff and Cologne
Izzy brought her own quirky, alternative rock style to our glitter metallic mini dress and sequin swirl maxi dress. Think studded chokers, pvc berets, flares, fishnets and bowie references ... we couldn't have done it any better ourselves, the perfect muse.
So huge shout out to Iz for supporting the independents and being so killer! ⚡
