London Edge 2018

After one hell of a weekend I've finally made the recovery from my time in London. It was a case of go big or go home deciding to not only show at my first ever trade show, but launch a new collection and organise the editorial for my return.

Working to the early hours and managing to finish packing at 5am for a train that was leaving at half 7 (not my usual style), a bottle of prosecco was more than welcomed when my backside hit the seat. FYI. I was travelling with the fab Erin from Fictional Character and therefore it takes away the alcoholic vibes.

For those of you thinking we were living the perceived lap of luxury of a fashion designer though, you'd be more than mistaken ... these gals were traipsing the streets of London with oversized suitcases, mannequins and rails.

Arriving at The Business Design Centre, we were joined by the likes of Collectif, as well as many fab independents. I felt some slight intimidation and the pressure was on but the love for the new collection from buyers and bloggers, as well as other designers was overwhelming. Keep an eye out for the new editorial, it will be dropping in the next few weeks.

So huge thanks to all the team at London Edge for helping me with everything along the way and for putting on a great opening party (definitely was reliving my childhood with some of that playlist). You guys have truly created a one of a kind environment where creatives can inspire each other and work together rather than see each other as competitors. Following my London success I have plans for going international with my trade show travels with London Edge and will be making some announcements soon.
